L e a f p e t a l l e a f provides “leaf portraits”, “petal images” and giclee images, unframed or framed - modern or vintage – single or multiples. Each piece is unique and virtually cannot be duplicated. Each will mellow and intensify in color, tone and texture. Though pieces may appear similar, no two are ever exactly alike.
Artist’s Statement
It is my intention, without words, to imply, suggest, illustrate, symbolize, reveal and reflect.
I employ craft, the contradiction of highly manipulated humble commodities – fragility, embodied in crumbling, sutured, once living plant life. Metaphors constructed through transformation.
